Business Visa:

A note from the company you work for, stating the purpose of your visit to Algeria,

Evidence of invitation from your sponsor (institution or company) in Algeria

The Additional information form concerning the company's professional activity,

Tourist visa:

Passport, valid for 6 months at least,

One (01) fully completed and duly signed Visa application form

One (01) recent photograph (passport size)

An invitation or a certified " Accommodation Certificate ", including the name of the person inviting you, their relationship to you and the address where you will be staying during your visit to Algeria. The person inviting you must have their signature authenticated at their "Commune of residence".

Or, when applicable, a confirmation letter from an Algerian hotel, stating your reservation for the whole period of your visit.

Family visit visa:

Passport, valid for 6 months at least,

A document bearing proof of relationship between the applicant and the person or the family inviting them.

Journalist visa:

Passport, valid for 6 months at least,

Three (03) copies of fully completed and duly signed Specific visa application formfor journalists

Three (03) identical recent photographs (passport size)

An assignment letter from the media you work for

When applicable, an invitation letter from your Algerian partner

A postal money order or a certified cheque, maid payable to the Embassy of Algeria.

Work visa:

Passport, valid for 6 months at least,

Work contract

A work permit delivered by the Ministry of Employment, Department of Employment at the Wilaya where the company is based.

A postal money order or a certified cheque, maid payable to the Embassy of Algeria.

A prepaid registered mail envelope bearing the applicant's address (from any protected mail courier services companies, at the applicant's expenses).

Fees

Transit visa:

Passport, valid for 6 months at least,

One (01) fully completed and duly signed Visa application form

One (01) recent photograph (passport size)

Travel ticket confirming the final destination

Entry clearance for the final destination.

Fees

Temporary work visa:

Passport, valid for 6 months at least,

Work contract which does not exceed 90 days

A provisional work permit (Autorisation Provisoire de Travail) issued by the Ministry of Employment, Department of Employment at the Wilaya where the company is based.

A postal money order or a certified cheque, maid payable to the Embassy of Algeria.

Fees

Cultural visa:

Passport, valid for 6 months at least,

Applicants should provide a letter of invitation from the event organizer.

Confirmation of Enrolment

Evidence of payment of tuition fees

Evidence of sufficient funds for the studies and accommodation.

Medical visa:

Passport, valid for 6 months at least,

Medical visa is issued to people travelling to Algeria for medical purposes such as an admission to hospital for surgery. Application should be supported by a letter of confirmation from the hospital or health care centre and an evidence of payment of fees.
